AIR PLANS

Under the supervision of the Chief of Air Plans, the division contributes to the JFACC C2 cycle starting with the incoming COMCJTF directives and guidance, as well as to the COMJFAC specific air directives. Its contribution to the JFACC C2 cycle ends when all the operational documentation is released to the AIR OPS Division, and to all involved units.

Air Plans is in charge of translating the Air Strategy analysis into directives and orders for Air operations accomplishment. The division outlooks 24 to 72 hours ahead Air Operations of current.
