Under the supervision of the Chief of Air Plans, the
division contributes to the JFACC C2 cycle starting with the incoming COMCJTF directives and guidance, as well as to the COMJFAC specific air directives. Its contribution to the JFACC C2 cycle
ends when all the operational documentation is released to the AIR OPS Division, and to all involved units.
Air Plans is in charge of translating the Air Strategy
analysis into directives and orders for Air operations accomplishment. The division outlooks 24 to 72 hours ahead Air Operations of current.

This division is responsible for exporting JFACC and
particularly air units by answering all their requests for information.
The AI Division main missions are
to:
- Exploit information collected by
sensors;
- Build and update intelligence
databases;
- Provide an updated Combined Order of Battle
(COB);
- Participate in IPB with tactical
intelligence;
- Establish timely and tailored intelligence in support of
air operation planning and execution, as defined by the following tactical capabilities, according to the Air Threat Assessment (ATA) : offensive, defensive, support, command, control and
communications, logistics;
- Contribute to target folders
updates;
- Prepare Intelligence Tactical Situation Briefings (at
least twice a day);
- provide reports as appropriate and maintain data
bases;
- Draw up Intelligence Summary

The AIR OPS is the armed tool of COMJFAC for executing air
operations.
They operate STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (AIR OPS SOP) to execute and coordinate air operations in a dedicated area during a crisis period. Procedures and functions prescribed in the SOP may
however be adjusted in order to meet specific Air C2 requirements derived from the operational planning process.
AIR OPS missions is to direct and co-ordinate tactical air
operations of allocated forces in accordance with COMJFAC’s guidance. In this respect, AIR OPS Chief is normally delegated as well the TACON of all other forces (TACOM and TACON of forces under
the command of COMJFAC).

The Non-Kinetic division is directing and co-ordinating
operation for the benefit of the local population, the local authorities and the Forces, in accordance with COMJFAC guidance.
The Non-Kinetic Division coordinates Info Ops, PsyOps and
CIMIC actions in order to attack, disrupt or counter the adversary, in close cooperation with Public affairs, based on a thorough assessment of the Host Nation and the adversary culture, society,
way of life, and actual or expected reactions.
